After sanding and varnishing the teak in the cockpit, we left Monday morning on a sail across Lake Erie to Leamington, Ontario. We had plenty of sunshine and little wind as we resorted to using the Yanmar diesel more than we would have liked. The municipal marina at Leamington is beautiful and had plenty of transient slips for wayward Americans. Checking in with the Canadian customs officer was easy... just a phone call from the marina
